High Intensity ultrasound uses ultrasound waves to generate temperatures of 65 degrees centigrade plus at well defined depts in the skin. Once the cells in the targeted area reach a certain temperature they experience cellular damage causing dermal remodelling, resulting in lifting and tightening.
The high frequency ultrasound beams are focused on a specific tissue site below the skins surface, as a result there is no damage to the upper layers of the skin, this is considered a non invasive procedure.
The 4.5 mm cartridge targets the smas layer, leading to immediate contraction without damage to the skin surface or surrounding tissue.
